One of the guys from the shop brought me out to the take off parts and spent a long time sorting through seats and misc. parts trying to fine what I wanted. After that he gave me tips on how to install the pieces correctly. Then they sold them for a very fair price. Everybody there seems to care about their job. I took my daughters there one time and the owner took the time to talk to them and show them some of the cool cars he has. He never even mentioned that he owned the place. You would have never known he was anything other than another worker. I just get a good solid impression of the place every time I go. That, and everything there is at or under MSRP. On September 21st, a drunk driver ran a red light and I t-boned him. Causing approximately $11,400 dollars worth of damage to my bike. The insurance company wanted me to take it into a dealer to be appraised for damage so I took it to House. Since I had a broken leg and a hernia they met me at the back door with a fork truck and unloaded it from my trailer. I settled with the insurance company and a salvage company and sold the bike. The salvage company came to pick up the bike and House wanted to charge me $1325 for storage. The salvage company paid it, and I paid the salvage company. I went back to the Owner, and pleaded my case. He said he could give me that dollar amount off another bike, but that the policy was printed on the service desk, as to the storage policy. I mentioned the broken leg, and the fact that I had never been in the store! He said tough. I then had to file a small claim suit, and finally he gave me back $880 of it, and asked that I not be in his store or do business with him. However, that is where my positive experience ended. The service dept. act as if your doing them a favor. I felt like if I didn't hurry out of there, a lynch mob would have came out of the back room. The parts department is arrogant and unhelpful. If I broke down in their parking lot, I would call the dealership in black river falls. I just don't get it. What happen to the idea of "keep the customer happy and they will return"? and do what you say, explain what you mean and care for it like its your own." - AQ 04/08
