It's funny I always hear people complaining about LCHD selling above MSRP, but yet I've never seen anyone standing there holding a gun to anyone's head to buy anything. Could it be the good salespeople? The way people are treated, and staff just tells them the truth about any questions you may ask? Most likely a combination of all; now tell yourself, really, how can any business treat people so badly and still grow and expand as fast as they have. It's not rocket science. I was driving way out of my way to try and be loyal to these money grubbers, buying parts, clothing and for my services, but no more! First of all every time I'd call service dept. got voice mail, no response from my message, tried e-mail nothing! Took it down one day to get the Stage 1 breather kit and remapping done, was in a hurry to get back home, so never noticed the greasy finger prints all over everything until I stopped to get gas! all over seat, tank, rear fender, etc. Was told when I bought it, it would live out after a service cleaner than it was when it came in! Hell, I'da been happy if it would have been as clean as it was! Ooohh, they are your best friends when you go to buy one, but afterward???? I took a stack of their business cards and was giving them to friends interested in a bike, but have since told them to go elsewhere!! I will NEVER as much as buy a t-shirt from these people ever again! Spend $20,000 plus on a bike and then get treated like this! oh yeah, when I bought had the temp. tag on the bike (30 day) it was about to go dead, so rode down to see what the hold up was on getting permanent tag, the gal over that had not even touched paper work, had to look through a stack of papers on her desk to find them! They had to cut me a check for the state taxes (financed in with bike), they were supposed to send off before I got new tag!!! Taking my bike to Carolina H-D!" - GB 02/06 "Purchased a 2007 Street Glide from H-D of Greenville, it has been a very good experience. I had one problem getting the tag on-time and the dealer quickly fixed the issue to my satisfaction. The parts desk is great, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The salesman at Myrtle Beach HD are the laziest and rudest salespeople I've ever dealt with in my life. Must of walked around for at least half an hour before they even came over. They were just hanging around in plain sight talking to one another. Nobody wanted to make a sale. After we finally did speak they acted like they were doing me a favor and couldn't really nail down a price after I told 'em what I wanted. I went to Wilmington, NC to Carolina Coast. Absolutely no problems, and 18,800 out the door. I don't even buy parts from them and I live 3 miles away. I'll mail-order everything and hope I never need repairs. Id rather ride it or trailer it up to Wilmington." - DP 07/08 "Picked up a screw in my tire Saturday morning of the 2007 Fall Rally. This dealer decided that I needed a tube for my tubeless tire, spark plugs, & they hooked my bike to a machine that told me that my speed-o was broken, hence boosting my cost without even calling & asking me if this was ok. I will never use this dealer for anything & I will never recommend this dealer to anyone who owns a Harley. Now I know how they can afford to build their new place on hwy 77 though." - DG 07/06 "What a great dealership. I especially like the fact that they have so much more room to offer a better parts selection than when they were at the little building before. They always treat me right and the guys in service really get me in and out with no problems whenever I need something. I also like the fact that they wash and shine my bike for me whenever I have had any service work done. I have let all my fellow riders know about this place and I would recommend it to anyone too." - CL 08/07 "Every time I come in the door I'm greeted with a hello and a smile. I recently brought my husband\'s bike in for an oil change. The service dept was very nice and took his bike right in. They told me it was going to take 2 1/2 hours, and they had the bike back in 1 hour 45min. It was spottless when I got it back!! It looked better than when I brought it in. While I was waiting I browsed through the store, the parts and clothing selections were incredible. There were so many choices I didn't know where to begin. As a bonus, they have a great lounge to hang out and wait in. The employees were also very friendly, which made my wait enjoyable. I will definitely will come back. I will make sure to recommend this dealership to everyone I know!" - JF 10/07 "Brought my bike in to have rear tire replaced, as I walked thru the dealership everyone seemed to be genuinely glad to see me. I spoke to a salesperson who after learning I was there for service still took the time to chat and make me feel welcome although I told him I wasn't interested in buying a bike. While changing the tire they discovered my brakes were about gone and took the time to show me the pads and get my OK before putting them on. What a great dealership!
