"I could not be more satisfied.  I bought my first bike there in May/06.  They didn't have the color I wanted, but they had it there in 3 days.  They have a HUGE showroom, bikes everywhere.  I went in with no idea on what model I wanted, the salesman explained everything from top to bottom, and helped me narrow it down.  I've been back many many times, I think everyone knows me by name.  All of the staff are very knowledgeable, and friendly.  I would highly recommend them to anyone, for any of their services!" - JN 08/06

"Dropped by Southeast to inquire about a potential trade-in for a '07 Ultra to find the salesman I'd been dealing with for years was no longer there. The place has grown from the small, family shop to a boutique-type place. Although everyone was friendly, I never got the impression they were particularly interested whether they sold me a bike or not. They sell for MSRP and had a large variety of bikes on the floor... many accessory-festooned models at large prices. In the past I was less than impressed with the Service Dept.... same faces are still back there." - TM 07/06

" I would NEVER deal with these people again. I was let down by not one but THREE different people there.  Everything from not keeping me informed of things to not bothering to call when they assured me they would, not to mention the bike I had selected AND signed papers for failed to appear when they said it would. "Case of the 2007 Phantom Sportster." I never did see the thing! I was finally so disgusted with the way I was being treated that I made an appointment to have a chat with the owner who also acted like he could care less. When I'm planning to lay down $11,000 for something that has less than 4 wheels. I think at the very least I could get some decent customer service out of their associates.  End result, I told him to shred the paperwork and I'd take my money elsewhere. I don't know if it was because I am a woman, because they have crummy people on board there, or some other factor, but I give them a serious F- for customer service." - MD 11/06

"Bought my first Harley at Elyria Harley spring of 2002. Used 97 Fatboy. I was treated fine until after all the paper work was signed. Go into the dealership to purchase parts, and the guys at the parts counter act as if your bothering them. The same with the service dept. If your not some high roller from our town, or have a well known name. You are trash, and they will treat you 0 respect. I spent $15000 to purchase my bike, and have put another $16000 into it. Elyria didn't get any of the extra I put into it, and I will never ever purchase anything from them." - DD 08/06

"Doing business where the person you deal with has their name on the front of the store is almost a thing of the past. Not at Carlton H-D, a small, family-run business where you end up knowing everyone by the time you walk out the door. Dropped by just to look around and ended up putting a small, refundable deposit on a '07 Ultra. Free setup and freight and a competitive trade-in on my '05 Ultra. Stopped by a few weeks later for my girlfriend to look at bikes. The owner walked her through financing and she ended up with an '06 XL1200L... free setup, free freight, free 1st service and $500 *BELOW* MSRP! Accessory installation and delivery was smooth as silk and the Service Dept appears to be first rate! Highly recommended!" - TM 07/06

"I purchased a 06 Flh standard from them a few months ago am very happy with their service they have a clean shop and well equipped show room salesmen where very easy to deal with after I bought the bike call back and added wire wheel and got a good price. I shopped around before I bought so am glad to say this is a excellent place to buy from and have to drive pass my home dealer to get there." - MH 12/06
