A week later was told by two techs that all is good and normal. It's a syn. oil noise only. Two weeks later took it to different dealer as noise persisted. Diagnosed as a bad cam bearing. $800 dollar repair on a bike that was diagnosed no problem at Illinois Hd. At 20,000 miles and a couple of months after my extended warranty has run out, it seems the least that they could do is let me know that this is a common reoccurring issue with the tc88 engine so that I can buy a rice burner next time. Heck, for the 25,000 dollars Vie got in this America made dream bike, I could have two nice imports. a racer and a touring. God Bless America " - GR 09/06

He refunded the price of the poor dyno tune (store credit) and I mentioned the bags to him and he acknowledged that there was a problem with bags being improperly handled and scratched by the tech who had worked on my bike (he has since been fired). I told him I would try to hand buff them myself and let him know how it came out. Scratches were too deep, and when I called back I was shuffled off to the shop foreman and I was under the impression that new bags were on order. When I checked over a month later, bags had not been ordered, and he wanted to "repair" mine. Brand new bike manhandled by them and they want to polish through the clear coat so I can have faded spots on my bags in a few years? Lost a good Service Manager, The service seems like it is slipping, Parts Manager not real friendly and I hear the prices are above MSRP. Pulled into their drive at 11:30 a.m. and was greeted by the owner, who said the techs would be in at noon and my bike would be the first one to get repaired. Insisted that I take a bike to ride, since the repair would take two to three hours, gave me a new V-Rod to try out. Got back, found out that they were having a promotion with 25% off on parts, which the owner applied to my repair. I am still amazed at how nicely I was treated by people who had never met me before. Did not take delivery. I wanted some build work first. My sales guy was there full tilt until the deal was done, haven't heard from him unless I call him! NO HELP! Being lied to over and again is only a refection of there integrity. The best they can do is give blank stares, false promises and a line of friendly bull! Any events Campbell's has to do with will not be there. I will not advertise for them either. Dealership promised me my bike 2 weeks after purchased - it was 9 weeks later. Had their "trained" mechanics do all upgrades. Have had nothing but problems with the bike and the owner will not stand behind any of the work that was done. He will not even talk to me about the issues. He is conveniently out of the office every time I go there. Bike has been in his shop 4 different times for weeks each time and will not find or fix the problems. The owner is very rude and is not accommodating to his customers. Service should not be a part of "his" advertisement. All upgrades were paid at time of purchase, so money from me can't be the problem. He obviously cares about the sale only, not the satisfaction of the customer. Thanks to Starved Rock, we have a $35,000.00 paperweight in our garage now!" - RB 05/06

Once I firmly decided on the model, I got their price quote, which was MSRP plus $680 for freight/set-up. I did some shopping around, and got a price from my previous dealer in South Dakota. They quoted me MSRP, and waived both freight and set-up charges. I called TNT to see to let them know that I found a better price. I thought that they would at least ask me what kind of price I was quoted, and would make some effort to get my business. They wouldn't budge from their original quote. Their service manager & writers really know their stuff and do their best to get the bikes in & out quickly. When I bought my last bike (list price), I wanted a BUNCH of stuff done to it before delivery. They gave me 20% off on parts and 50% off on labor! Try & beat that! They usually get our bikes serviced in 2-3 days. They really bend over backwards for the customers that actually RIDE their bikes." - BW 02/07

It was a 02 Indian Scout, Great looking bike. Right away I noticed on the test drive that the brakes were soft and asked them to fix it. They said they would and quoted a price of 18,500for the bike. They let it go for 12,500 and they tried to sell me every add on and service agreement there was. I said no and brought the bike home. The first thing to go wrong was the right side timing cover fell off within an hour, I brought the bike to an independent shop who inspected the bike with me and pointed out that the chrome add-ons were put on using anti-seize and that I should expect more problems. The next thing to go was the rocker covers. this time I left it at the independent shop to rebuild the practically new engine due to Zylstra's mechanics not doing the job right. Oh, yeah, and the brakes? Zylstra put in DOT 3 instead of DOT 5 which corroded the front master cylinder - they never actually fixed it." - JB 02/07

They gave me 20% off anything to make up for it. They serviced the bike 6 times in one year due to the amount I ride it - bike was always perfect, service was always perfect. Unfortunately I have to buy another one this year as mine got totaled. I will only go here for bikes, parts, service, parties etc... I paid MSRP for my bike in 05 and will be paying MSRP this year as well. I recommend them to anyone." - JB 02/07
