I called Mikes Famous because Vie seen their advertisements all over the place. Well I called and talked to a salesman and he told me they have the best deals anywhere but couldn't quote me a price over the phone, I asked him to please not waste my time because I was coming from central New Jersey and I didn't want to waste my time, He assured and re-assured me his deals could not be beat. When I arrived I felt like I was in one of those huge car dealers with a whole bunch of sales people floating lines of shit, but I asked for the sales manager I had talked with on the phone and about 10 minutes later he appeared. We had already discussed on the phone that I wanted an 07 FLHX with no opts, he said he had a bunch for me to choose from. Well I was then brought to the least dealer customized bike and was given a price, not including extra parts, of $2000 over MSRP. I was pissed and reminded him of our phone cal and me not wanting to waste me time. Well he said this was his best deal take it or leave it. I told him to take himself outside so I could remind him my time was precious, needless to say I was threatened with a call to the local police and I was on my way. Mikes Famous Not able to get updates of delivery, No returned phone calls, and today when I finally found out my bike will ship 3 weeks later then promised. The answer was there was a strike (Ya I Know) But he said If you don't want it, 10 minutes later some one else will. When I bitched he tried to cancel the order. I paid MSRP on the bike and picked it up two days later; fully serviced and fully detailed. The service dept has been totally honest and responsive; warranty work with no hassle, done on time and as promised. Personal follow-up on the sale and any service. I would rate them A+. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a family run business and it shows. relaxed and inviting. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a bike.
