Upon receiving the SE Race Tuner discovered that it had no cables. Returned to the dealership for the cables. Was told by the parts manager that the SERT had to be installed at the dealer. No user serviceable parts and that I would have to have a special computer to use it. I provided the parts manager with the correct part number for the cables. Once I convinced him that the cables existed and were to be sold to the general public, he said OK, but how are you going to hook it up to the machine? He then said to follow him into the shop and led me over to the dyno. Throughout the whole ordeal, he was very rude and condescending. At this point, all I could do was shake my head and walk away. He not only needs to work on his people skills, he needs to work on his product knowledge also. I later called the dealership and left a message for him that the instructions for using the SERT without a dyno were on page 93 of the manual. That having been said, I would like to state that the parts men that I dealt with were very helpful and knowledgeable." - FL 01/07

I picked the bike up a week later and it was ready. I went outside and realized the tech had missed checking my tires as my rear was 2/32. I became concerned re the safety checks he might not have completed and asked to see the check list. The Mgr advised me that the tech did not complete a check list but don't worry I'm sure he looked at the brakes! Also you should have told us the back tire needed changing. $500 I think they changed the oil and plugs. I know they changed the tire. I think I got the Sunshine treatment sit er outside in the sun till the owner picks it up." - DF 07/07
