"I purchased a 2002 v-rod from a good friend who was the original owner.  It had factory tires on it, which needed replaced.  I brought it to Laidlaws's.  When I checked up on the job later, I was informed that the rear axle was frozen and the rim was damaged by the job.  But I was told not to worry, the dealer would take care of it. When I picked up my bike later in the week, I was informed that it was not their fault, my extended warranty would be charged I had it transferred in time), and they wanted the deductible.  I told them that this was a factory wheel and if the axle hadn't been properly greased, it was the factory's fault and the dealer as a factory representative should take care of the deductible.  Laidlaw's just seemed to care about getting their money, didn't want to hassle talking to the company, and wanted me to pay.  If I'm informed by a representative that they would take care of it, and then later informed that it wasn't their responsibility, it just seems like bad business to me.  I will think twice about going there in the future." - BM 07/07

"The Oceanside Bigs HD does not have as big of a staff as they should for their Mechanics. I have taken my bike there a few times and they tend to be overpriced and have a slow turn around time. The last two out of three times I took my bike there it took longer than expected and they wanted to make my bill higher than the estimate. They tend to forget to order parts. I took my bike there to have the tires changed and they took a day and a half when they told me it would only take a couple of hours. They also tried to say that I needed to pay for some parts that were not on my estimate that need to be changed every time the tire is changed." - JG 05/06

"This is a great shop where they treat you like your a long lost buddy every time you go in, be it two months or two years, and that every sale matters to them be it big or small for parts or a bike sale.  I have bought three bikes from them in the last twenty four years. "This dealership has an outstanding service department. I had a 95 kit installed on my 04 FLHT and a week later I went on a 3125 mile trip, the bike performed flawlessly. The service department GM knows what he is talking about and treats you like family. The parts department have always delivered on time and they make sure you get the right part the first time. My wife bought a Sportster  and said that it was a pleasure to buy here, and believe you me, when she says something good about a business, It's as good as gold! Yes Guidera's H.D. sells at or below MSRP. Paid cash.  I requested a change of handlebar estimate from Guidera's HD, their estimate was $278.57.  That is a difference of $462.47 From Hall's $741.04 which included items that I did not request. My future MC business will be with Guidera's." - GL 07/07
