"I purchased my latest bike at Superstition at MSRP + Freight and Prep
after shopping all of the dealers in the east valley. Superstition came in
with the best price and offered me the most for my trade. The people there
are first rate and there was virtually no up-selling involved. The finance
person ran the numbers with numerous options, put them in front of me and
sat quietly by while I decided on the terms of the loan and whether or not
to purchase the extended warranty. It was a painless experience, and I
rode away on my new bike w/accessories installed within three hours of
walking in the door. Their service department is also top shelf with free
pick up and delivery of your bike, or two way shuttle service if you ride
in. All in all, the best dealer in the valley in my opinion and I've been
to them all numerous times." - SS 07/07 |

"Was looking for a new bike, tried talking with Tucson HD, but knew
better. Tucson wanted $26,000.00 for a new 07 Road King Classic, then add
on from there all the other high priced BS, even though MSRP was $18,300.
They told me when I questioned them about the high starting price "That is
only suggested MSRP." As if that justified their starting asking price of
$26,000. I got the bike ordered by Grand Canyon, with SE active exhaust,
installed with Kuryakin Hi five air filter, RK custom handle bars, longer
cables for the controls, different grips, detachable luggage rack and
sissy bar, profile rims, two tone red over black pearl paint and a five
year extended warranty all out the door for $23,500. The savings over
Tucson City sales tax at 8.1% versus Flagstaff's 5.6% paid for the trip
up, the stay at the hotel and some of the goodies I bought at the dealer."

"After a visit to the
showroom, I called the salesman next day to confirm price. He called back
and said their was a policy of not giving a price over the phone. Kind of
aggravating, but I bit and stopped by the next day. Salesperson took my
info to manager. After 20 minutes or so trying to sell me riding gear
while waiting, I had a chance to sit down and discuss price. Manager
showed me offer sheet, price was approx $2500 above MSRP. I told him no
way, I already had an offer at 500 above MSRP.. He gave me story about
how they have to buy their Harleys from other dealers, so they pass on the
cost. I balked, and he went to see what he could do. Came back $1000 over
MSRP, so I walked. Getting bike from different dealer at MSRP." - JD 02/06 |

"I bought a 04 from Grand
Canyon HD in Mayer AZ for about $2000 out the door less than Arrowhead
Harley in Glendale AZ wanted. It was brand new and even the service is
less than Arrowhead. If you want to save some $$ and have a nice ride too
boot, run on up to Mayer, they are great people to deal with, honest and
fair, plus I believe that the taxes are lower. I tried several times to
deal with Arrowhead since they are close to home, but they refuse to sell
for MSRP." - JH 10/06 |

"Straight up dealer. Came to the bottom line - MSRP plus freight,
tax etc. - and did it quickly. No high pressure sales tactics. Although they
have changed hands from the old Chosa's, many of the same people are there,
and they seem to treat customers well, like they always used to under the
old name. Happiest, most honest Hog buying experience I've had in the
Valley." - JW 06/06 "Recently bought a FLHT from Chester's, and over
all it was a good buying experience . Sales personnel were all very helpful
,and friendly and did not TOTALLY IGNORE me as when it was under the
previous ownership ! This is my third Harley purchased through a dealer in
Arizona ,and my best. I have no idea about their service department." - RB

"Seeing a 07 Ulysses in the list I asked for a quote from Arrowheads web
site. The seat height is 33 inches. The salesman ignored this and had the
Buell expert come out and completely remove the pre-load from the bike to
get my feet to touch the ground and cinch the deal. The bike was all over
the road, it wobbled coming out of turns and the front end floated badly.
I found Buells are extremely sensitive to rider weight/suspension
preloads. Surely the Buell expert knew this? I set it correctly, it now
handled normally but I was back to the original problem. I brought
the bike back in. Another salesman showed me Harleys new and used for the
same price. I implored them to exchange for an 07Roadster, same year,
mileage and price. They refused stating I need $3000 more because of the
finance company. First they almost send me to my death, then they want
$3000 to fix their mess. I have not been satisfied and think Arrowhead is
very crooked and uncaring about their customers." - WB 12/07 |

"I went down on and put a deposit down on a motorcycle at
Buddy Stubbs H-D. I got pre-approved for the loan at my credit union. Buddy
Stubbs told me he had 5 days to make the purchase. I was to take my current
bike down there to get an appraisal in case I decided to trade my bike in.
That day was really windy so I called Buddy Stubbs and they too advised me
to wait til the following day because of the wind. I went down there the
next morning and got an appraisal. I also saw the bike with all the extras I
ordered. I decided to sell my current bike on my own. Buddy Stubbs was
pressuring me to use Harley Davidson financing. I told them I would probably
go with my credit union since their interest rate was lower. I told Buddy
Stubbs I would be back in two days to make the purchase since the salesman
was off Sunday and Monday. They said that would be fine. Later that day we
received a call from the manager and he said he decided not to make the sale
because we were taking too long. I think it is because we won't go with H-D
financing or lack of trade-in. l think this is bad business since I did put
money down on the bike and have a purchase order and a signed receipt for
the deposit. The deposit is non-refundable but they told us to come get the
money. Don't even purchase a shirt from this place.' - JR 04/06 "Bought an
05 Springer and also bought an 03 Sportster there. Had a part fall off the
Springer and they would NOT warranty it, because I did not fall for their
expensive service and did my own service. So , understand that if you buy a
NEW bike there, you must spend many other $$$$$ in their service." - BK

"I rented a street glide from H-D of Tucson and was very pleased. I live
in Dallas and had reserved the bike in February. The guy running the
rental was great. He worked with me to insure I was picking the right
bike for what I was planning to do. The bike was ready as scheduled and
in excellent condition. The whole process was easy and efficient." - JB
04/07 "We rode our Ultras 1700 miles to attend the AZ State HOG Rally.
100 miles from Tucson, electrical problems developed with 1998 Ultra. We
had it towed to Harley-Davidson of Tucson on Saturday April 28 and didn't
need it back until the following Saturday, May 5, (we had to leave Sunday
to get back to work on Wednesday); service department said they were
booked until May 7. We worked in the back lot and narrowed the problem
down to a 6-inch area.....no one would come out to look. Returned on
Monday April 30 and again explained we HAD to leave on the 6th. Still
booked out to the 7th. With no other option, we had it towed to IronHorse
dealer. Arrived at 1:30 on the 30th and it was ready to go at 4. There was
a broken wire in the area we had pin-pointed. Very scary, and we didn't
know WHAT we were going to do if we couldn't get my bike
running....although dealer salesman suggested we buy a new bike." - CB
