"We have always had a pleasant experience there. Last time however my husband took his RK in for an inner primary leak. When we picked it up it was still leaking. The mechanic came out and pointed out it was not the primary anymore it was the derby cover. He said that particular cover was thin and that was that. When we got home my husband changed the cover with another one. The one he removed was warped. Somehow they had bent it when they replaced it and tried to put it off as not their fault. "Ordered my bike through the military sales program in 2002.  They were not very cooperative when picking up the bike and were quick to tell me all the benefits I "would have had" if I were to have bought it there.  I've tried to buy parts through them, but their stock is always low and parts have to be ordered.  I had to have warranty work done and they told me to bring the bike down anytime, when I did they were upset that I didn't have an appointment.  Not a bad dealer if all your interested in is the chrome add-ons, but as a "service" dealer you can do better." - BR 09/06

"I went in for service and fuel injection calibration. Was told I had leaking intake seals. When I went to pick it up, I was told a higher price than what was quoted to me by the service manager on the phone. The manager showed me the work that was done and it checked out, but because he told me different, we split the price difference. I deal with Dothan for major fuel injection repairs, etc., that the local independents can't handle. Many of us go to Dothan because my home town dealership of Albany, Ga. has had so many negatives comments, a few that can be seen on this site." - PM 04/07

"If you order online, be aware that Harley of Dothan isn't worth your time. As of now, they lost a customer because of their ridiculous attitude that their is no way they could mess up and ship out a bad part. Finally got the call from the dealership that my XM radio was in. Take the bike in for the install, service tech removed the windshield to remove the fairing (not necessary) and scratched the fairing putting the w/s back on. Radio works fine. Cleanup boy wiped down my black paint with a dry terry towel and scratched from one end to the other. I will not be back. High prices, shoddy service, lack of integrity...I can get that anywhere." - WN 03/06

"I would like to congratulate Rocket HD for turning their operation into a first class outfit. I just purchased 2007 Electra Glide and I feel I got a very good deal on the bike; they gave me top trade dollar and MSRP on the new motorcycle. I could not have made a better deal anywhere. Thanks Rocket HD for the excellent customer service. At no fault of Rocket HD the bikes transmission makes noise in 5th gear, the drive train has an unusual knocking sound. The Motor Company Customer Service Rep said; they are working on a fix for this. We will see now how they stand behind the products they sell." - PC 10/06

"The line Rocket Harley uses is they sale for MSRP but then add on about a $900.00 dealer prep and $395.00 for title fee (about 5 mins of paperwork). Then they bolt on lots of accessories you may or may not want charging top dollar and service installation charges. They DON'T tell you it's extra on top of the price tag for the accessories they have bolted on the bike until you read the numbers in the final paperwork. If you don't see that before you write your signature on the paperwork then too bad for you. Rocket Harley marks its motorcycles up about 20% or more above MSRP and even charges more for many of its used bikes than a new one cost from out of state dealers. I have found dealers just a 100 miles away sale for MSRP out the door price plus tax & title." - JF 11/07

"I needed a new rear tire for my 2002 XL, and got a nice one for almost 60 dollars off!  There was a five day wait for mounting, but the guy at the parts counter was able to recommend an independent tire shop in my area that has a dedicated motorcycle guy.  Tire and mounting, over a hundred dollars less than any other H-D dealership north of Birmingham.  Thanks, Rider's!" - CP 06/06

"Bought new 06 Road Glide, and they were nice enough to do a dealer transfer for me.  Paid $MSRP.  Could not be happier with parts and sales.   My problem is with the service dept.  The RG was delivered to me with a defective horn, and fuel door console.  Was told the horn was not supposed to blow when engine was not running.  Yea right.  Problem was it wouldn't blow even when running.  Made an appointment one week after purchase.  Was told it would take an hour.  Two hours later my bike was still untouched.  I ended up having to get the parts, and do the work myself, and they get to turn it in on a warranty claim.   I do my own service, so I will not be back for service." - MB 07/06
