My throttle cable broke 60 miles north of Fairbanks. I was able to switch in my idle cable for the throttle and made it back to Fairbanks 45 minutes before the dealership closed. I went back to the parts counter and told them what happened. They looked up the part number and they didn't have it in stock. For any other dealership I've been to that would be the end of it. They pulled up someone who knew Sportsters and he went through the parts book and found a cable that would work for me. I made it back to the service area 30 minutes before closing time. Not only did they squeeze me in at the end of the day but the job ended up taking until past closing time. I told them not to worry about washing it since they were staying late for me but they insisted. This is the cleanest my bike has looked since it was new." - ES 07/08
