"Cannot say enough good thing about these folks.
Custom builder or get your oil changed. highly professional." - CR

"I do most work on my bikes myself. But if I do need specialty
work Red Racing in Boca is the only place in the area I'd go. The BEST HD
machinist I know." - DH 10/01 "Red Racing built 3 bikes for me
while I lived in Florida. Now in Montana for last 6 years and the 89
Softail they redid for me still turns heads, while running great. Can't
say enough good things about that shop. Wish it was 3,000 miles
closer...Miss those guys." - JG 12/04 "Nice folks.. Needed a part
for my dresser.. wasn't sure which clutch rod to use.. Owner says " take
all three, bring the two back you don't use, you can pay me then." He
don't know me from Adam! It's nice to be trusted.. Nice Shop!" - CB 01/07 |

"What a bunch of chowder heads. Brought my custom in
for noise in tranny, rocker box leaking, and a dyno run. After 2 weeks,
got my bike back; tranny never opened or checked, replaced box
gaskets, didn't do dyno run because of spark plug wires being wrong,
oh...and changed my brake pads. I had recently changed my brake pads
myself 2000 miles before. Didn't order wires because I didn't tell them
too that took another 2 weeks. Icing on the cake was the tranny blew 2
gears 3 weeks after that. Thanks a lot guys." - JZ 08/05 |

"These guys are awesome. HD Certified and I think the
owner said he was an instructor at AMI for a while. What I like is if he
doesn't know the answer, there's no BS - he says "I don't know". Fair and
honest but they're relatively new (about a year in business at that
location). I think their ethics and reputation will spread pretty
quickly." - NG 12/03 |

"I had my 01 Fatboy Power Commander tuned at Carl's a
several months back and was totally pleased. I called ahead a few days and
made a Saturday appointment. When I arrived Doug, this guy is sharp, took
the bike right in and did an awesome job. The dyno is in a location open
to the outside so atmospheric conditions are real. And, you are allowed to
stay with him the during the tuning. I was bouncing off the rev-limiter
all the way home. I was also taken on a tour of their machine shop." - MW

"Took my HD in to have an oil leak evaluated, and must
say I was impressed by the quality of service my scoot received. The
problem was quickly diagnosed by the owner, as well as another potential
problem that was noticed by the technician, and repaired at a very fair
price. Try this shop if you are in Daytona. You will not be disappointed."

"Mike's cycle is a one man shop in a strip mail in Edgewater on rt1. If
you own an ironhead sporty, or shovel or panhead he's your man. Good
selection of used parts and new parts. Always talk to Mike, as some of his
girlfriend help is not too knowledgeable. They also work on old Indian's.
Mike rides a 72 shovelhead himself, and is very friendly, fun to hang out
there." - JW 03/04 "Mike is extremely knowledgeable. Went in with a
charging problem on a 1993 Dyna SuperGlide and it was fixed in an hour and
at a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend this shop!" - GW 06/07 |

"I brought my 1995 FXSTSB to A.C.C. for a leaking base
gasket. I have always taken special care of my bike as it is a daily
rider, and had never had any problems with it before. Two weeks later
A.C.C. replaced the top end gaskets and I paid my bill. Immediately after
leaving the shop my bike was blowing blue smoke. I returned to A.C.C. and
told the owner the problem. He said that it was probably just some blow by
and should stop after it burns off and not to worry about it. I returned
to A.C.C. with the bad news that the three week old head gasket had blown.
The owner told me "these things happen". He stated that I should buy a
Harley remanufactured motor for $2195 plus labor as that was best.I
declined his suggestion and had him rebuild the top end again, this time
with new studs, pistons, valves, springs etc. After almost two months of
sitting in the shop my top end was finally finished. On the very second
day after getting it back and riding it below 3000 rpm and under 60 mph my
cam bearing went out. I was told that the bearing going out had nothing to
do with the work the owner had done. It was simply coincidental that it
went two days after picking the bike up. After yet another three weeks,
the cam, cam bearing and damaged case was repaired and I paid my $1076
bill which was $200 more than quoted. A mere three days after picking up
my bike for the third time I noticed oil spatter all over the cylinders.
Upon closer inspection I saw that the front rocker box gasket was pinched
and spewing oil!
The owner came out and said "it looks like it's only the rocker box
gasket, its no big deal". I took it to the Harley dealer and they repaired
it at his cost. At this point I can no longer trust what was once a very
reliable motorcycle." - FF 10/04 |

guys actually took the time to meet me & discuss my bike & a service plan
for it, they even stopped what they were doing & checked my air pressure &
oil level for me . Now That's Service ... you should go by there & meet
the guys." - JH 08/05 |

"They works on any bike, but mostly HD's. I have used
them for my '05 Sporty for over a year now and have never had any bad
results from them. Both have been HD employees before and got into their
own business because got tired of ripping people off at the dealers. Just
straight, honest, reasonable repairs/maintenance done in their shop!" - BI

- JG 7/01 "This service shop is great. Quality work at reasonable
prices. They have done all the service on both of my Springers (no rental
needed like at dealer). Installed the oil coolers I bought from them free.
Their shop is so neat and clean you could open a restaurant in it. Very
friendly staff and management. I have 4 HD dealers within 40 miles of me
but ride the 51 miles to Saddle Tramps. One of the largest selections of
accessories in central Florida." - RJ 12/03 |

"Only place I take my '76 custom shovelhead and its
been to many others. Knuckle's, Pan's, Flatheads, Evo. The owner is the
best. He has moved his shop across the street in a new warehouse so you
may want to call for directions. The phone number has not changed. Again
very good." - JM 07/07 |
Ben's Motorcycle Repairs
Milton, FL
|
"Went to Ben's for a gas-tank replacement on my V-Rod.
They did good shop work, though the bike was totally filthy when I got it
back - oil and dirt everywhere, controls and mirrors out of whack. Spent a
good twenty minutes in the parking lot when I picked it up just getting it
ready to ride home. Can't complain about their work, but if you go to
them, bring some shop rags and your tool kit." - AB 06/08 |

"Just bought a bike from this shop over the weekend. I
found the bike on their website a few days earlier, contacted them on
Friday and took possession of my new pride & joy that Saturday.
Everything was smooth and easy and they were a pleasure to deal with.
They worked out financing for me even though I had possible doubts about
it going through. They even took a bike in trade from me and gave me a
reasonable amount for it. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole
experience. I would recommend them to anyone considering buying a bike."

"Great shop. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. I have
done everything from full motor replacement to accessories with them and
all have been excellent. Very knowledgeable folks who have more than once
stopped me from wasting my money on what I "thought" I needed as opposed
to what I "really" needed. Great place to just hang and shoot the bull and
I would highly recommend you use them if you live in the Pensacola area."

"Excellent old world
shop with new technology. Lots of new and used bikes. Service department
is 5 stars. Very knowledgeable team with custom experience. Priced
right!" - TS 11/01 "I went to Classic Cycles for a custom Power
Commander map for my 2001 Road King with a 95' Big Bore and cams stage 2
kit installed at the Harley dealer. I used a map provided to me from Power
Commander to get me around until I could get the bike custom mapped at
Classic Cycles. I got my bike back from Classic Cycles and it hesitated,
sputtered all the way home. I found out Classic tried to tune the Power
Commander 2 to the Power Commander 3 software! Took the bike back and
Classic Cycle remapped it, this took ALL DAY, gave me the bike back at
closing again and as I hit the interstate the bike hesitated and surged
and ran so lean my mufflers turned gold/blue. I went home and reloaded a
map into my Power Commander from the website and the bike ran fine. I
called Classic Cycles for over 2 weeks to talk to the owner or salesman
about my problems and tried to get my money back. I finally succeeded and
got my money back but wasted 2 days off work and ruined a set of $400
Bassani slip on's. Called Power Commander and found out the certified
Power Commander tuning mechanic no longer works there but Classic Cycles
STILL advertises they are a authorized tuning center!" - MC 02/02 |
