"Called on a Tuesday about new tires. Prices and off/on for an h/d. Called back on Thursday to confirm appointment for the following Friday. Went in and paid for the tires upfront as they are special order on that Friday. Told tires would be in on Tuesday. Drop off bike on Thursday and service writer tries to get me to go for the 15k service and a new set of pipes w/ a pcIII. I declined. Get a call on Friday, 1 hour before pickup time telling me there are no tires. UPS lost the tires. What was the parts guy doing all week? Rain for the next 6 or 7 days and he is promising the bike for Monday. Never again. I'll ride 50 miles to the selling h/d dealer." - KM 05/06 |
