"Nice dealership with equally nice sales
folks. Bought my 03 Deuce there at MSRP. My only complaint is there parts
and service department not the most knowledgeable about the newer
techniques/parts/bikes. However they are very friendly! Most likely an issue
of not being in a major metropolitan area." - TB 06/03
"Top notch dealer...took the time to
explain to me about bikes before I bought the first one...just picked up my
second last week...from service to sales, the friendliest group I have
seen...Special thanks to Terry & Digger. If you are in the Appleton area,
stop and see these guys!" - CG 07/04
"highly recommend this dealer!
It's nice to see a dealer run an honest business and show fair trade in
values. A repeat customer means something to the guys in Appleton. Much
better treatment than received at my local stealer (Green Bay). It's worth
the time to check out H-D of Appleton!" - AB 10/04 |

"New dealership with small allotment. Sells bikes slightly
over MSRP but loads them up with high markup chrome crap." - JJ 11/99
"Have really only worked with their service and parts department. They
treated me well and also followed up right away on parts orders. Also
helped me get some used parts chrome plated and went out of their way to
locate out of available parts from my FXRP. Are very active with the Hog
Chapter as well as on going fund raising for people in the area needing
organ transplants. I also have a liver transplant so I know well how
support can help a person." - TK 03/02"Bought my first Harley at Northern Lights. Salesman was a great help in
figuring what I wanted and what I had visioned for my bike. MSRP price
with no set up fee. Bike was $100 less than anyone around and also
included a security system. Great people to deal with." - LC 04/05 |

MISCHLERS H-D

"I have had numerous bad
experiences at this dealership. I have had this dealership go out of their
way to bad mouth me. I had a reoccurring problem with a stock H-D part
breaking. Called H-D motor co. customer service who told me to go to a
dealer of my choice and they would arrange for me to get it at half price.
When I arrived at Mischlers H-D to get the part ,I was snubbed, treated very
disrespectful, and they even said I don't know what you said to get this at
half price, you must have complained a lot. They also said this part is
failing because you beat your bike and hit a lot of potholes. I treat my
bike very well and maintain it very well. they were rude, unprofessional,
snotty and I won't give them a penny more of my money." - RV 9/01 |
AL MUTH H-D
Black River Falls, WI

"My father has bought 3 Harleys from Al
Muth in Black River Falls Wisconsin and will buy his next one there. I have
one on order and the staff have been wonderful on the
financing and parts. New parts for the bike that are there when the bike
arrives will be installed free of charge. Most parts are even discounted.
After shopping around at all the dealers in the area Al Muth's is my choice
for the Gold Award." - FM 05/02 "I will take delivery of my third new
Harley from Muth's since I started doing business there in '95. I have
received what I felt were excellent values on the trade-ins. The new bikes
were always sold at MSRP with a fair delivery and set-up charge. I have
always been treated like a valued friend. When I had a problem with a
repair that went wrong, the owner came to my home (over an hour away) to
make things right. When my wife's bike's transmission developed shifting
problems on our way home from Sturgis they put her on a loaner to get home.
The charges were very reasonable for that transmission repair. The service
department personnel are friendly and informative and project a deserved
confidence. No, I am not making this up, I trust them. Even though the
dealership has grown tremendously in the past couple years, they have been
able to maintain the family atmosphere that initially attracted me to buy
there." - GM 02/03 |
DOC'S H-D OF SHAWANO

"We sell all of our bikes at MSRP. It's $100 to be
on our waiting list. All new bike buyers receive a 15% discount on
all parts/accessories and 10% on all leather goods for 6 months after the
purchase of their bike. We also offer a 10% discount to all of our
local HOG members and 15% to members that attended the meeting for that
month. One of our greatest strengths is our service dept. We do
porting, polishing, and balancing of engines and much more. We
specialize in and work on ALL years of Harley-Davidsons. Doc also drag races
a Nitro burning Top-Fuel Harley that goes 200 MPH in the 1/4 mile.
Every year we throw a huge customer appreciation party with free food and
beer. Last year we had a 30 foot grill and steaks for everyone, drag races
in the parking lot, and 20% off everything in the store." - Doc's H-D
1/00
"I had my initial service done at DOC's on a new Buell M2. The price was
definitely the best I found in northern Wisconsin. They have a first come
first serve policy with service on Saturdays. I felt the staff was
friendly, patient and very professional. The mechanic explained things
well to me and answered all my questions respectfully. I will definitely
go there again. DOC's may be the best kept secret in northeast
Wisconsin." - CD 10/02
"A friend arriving to the area from Nebraska needed an engine oil
change. He was told "we only do "walk ins" on Saturday". IMHO, a poor way
to treat an out of state traveler, especially for a job that takes about
15 minutes." - JV 10/02 "Six weeks after buying a new tire at Doc's, I noticed a split or cut or
flaw or something. I brought the bike back to Doc's. They replaced the
tire no charge, hassle or anything." - TG 07/04 "I recently spent a
lot of time on the phone looking for a replacement cam for my Sportster. I
live about an hour from Doc's but they said they might be able to help me
if I brought the old cam along. Went the next day and had a service guy
dig around in a box of used cams and happens to come up with a new one in
the bin. He measured it just to be sure the fit would be OK and gave me
some advice for installing it. This all took more than just a little time.
Had my bike up and running the next day with no problems. Overall I felt I
was treated right and felt that they went that extra mile for me." - DM
08/05 "Doc's has IMO the best service and sales in Wisconsin. I bought a
used FXRP there about 3 years ago and got a good price. As we were looking
at the bike I had mentioned to the owner that I didn't care for the seat,
at that he offered to change the seat to a new one out of a catalog free
of charge. I couldn't find anything I liked in the book so he offered to
let me have a look in the loft where they keep the new take offs and
gently used parts. again nothing caught my eye so I left with the bike and
no seat. a week later I found a seat I liked on the net, I brought the
website URL to the owner and a week later I had my new seat, I've been
going there for parts and service ever since. Like they say "Sales without
service is like kissing your sister, It's nice but there's no future in
it." I think Doc's will be around a long time. Be sure to check out the
auto museum and zoo while you\'re there." - BS 09/05 |

"I recently purchased a 03 HD Fatboy from the folks at Sport Motors
HD. I live in Nashville and the retailer is in Eau Claire, WI. I have a
friend in Eau Claire that put me on to the retailer. I was told that they
sold at MSRP... all true. I called them and inquired about the price of
an 03 Fatboy. The response was look at the Harley web page and add up the
options you want and that is the price. I was quite pleased to hear this
and immediately placed my order. They explained to me that they did not
have what I wanted on the floor, but the next shipment had one and there
was not even a VIN yet. The owners and the sales people were all great.
They received the bike July 11, 2003 and I picked it up on July 18, 2003.
I had an 813 mile drive to the store, but for the people and the price I
will be making another trip. I cannot say enough about the people that
made my experience a pleasant one." - JR 08/03

"A great dealer. Won't sell bikes to anyone out of
their dealership area. Sells at MSRP." - JJ 11/99 "I received prompt and courteous
service from the owner and two technicians who stayed after closing time
to fix a flat tire I had on the 4th of July weekend. They definitely
turned what could have been a bad trip into a minor inconvenience." -
DH 7/01
"I sent my wife out to pick up 3 quarts of oil and a filter for
my Sportster so I could change my oil. I specified to her that I needed 3
quarts . She told the dealer she wanted 3 quarts of oil for and a filter to
do a oil change in a 95 Sportster. The woman behind the counter argued with
my wife saying you need 4 quarts of oil in a Sportster. Good thing I knew to
only add 3. Could have caused some major probs to someone who was new to
Harleys and didn't know better and listened to the dealer. At a different
time at the same dealer, I emailed them asking why their prices on used
bikes were so much higher than new ones, I received an email in return
calling me a F*cking Illinois biker. No idea why he called me this and
treated me this way, and I am by the way, from Wisconsin,20 miles from the
dealership." - RV 9/01 "I recently purchased a 2002 Sportster from
Bob's after visiting all other dealers in the northeastern Wisconsin area.
Bob's sold at MSRP and did not try to "push" accessories that I didn't want.
Set-up charge of $150 was incredible. Everyone; salesman, owner, parts and
lead mechanic who spent a great deal of time going over the bike with me,
was absolutely top notch." - RT 04/02 "Prices are fair and service met my
expectations. They were willing to negotiate on price for an Ultra I
purchased. Bob's sells at MSRP or below, at the time of my purchase. I
required a warranty repair (re-call) of the ICM. Problem has handled
professionally and quickly. They replaced my worn rear tire at a fair and
competitive price (slightly cheaper than other dealers nearby). Overall,
experience has been positive. I even drive 50 miles one-way to use them.
They are currently my preferred choice until someone else tops them." - RF

H-D OF GREEN BAY

"McCoy's is probably the biggest stealer in the
country. Road Kings have been selling for $25,000 for over 5 years. Expect
to pay $3000-$10,000 over list price for a new big twin. Used big twins
sell for $2000-$8000 over MSRP. You'll get comparative squat on your trade
in. This dealer does have bikes in stock at all times, new &
used, nearly 100 of them. For some ungodly reason, this stealer has a
loyal following of people willing to throw down their hard earned cash on
incredibly overpriced machines. McCoy's even publishes a newsletter of
events/happenings/tech tips/etc. The newsletter lists prices on many
of the bikes they have for sale. The owner has absolutely no shame
whatsoever. I have heard what a rip off this schmuck of a dealer was for
years. When I actually visited the place and saw it in person, I was in
total dismay. The salespeople are total assholes. In my
opinion, they are instructed to be." - JJ 11/99 "Definitely a Stealership. If you have
any doubt, check out there website. $3000 - $10000 over MSRP. I visited
the Stealership thinking all the stuff I heard about them was made up. I
had a bike to trade in. They low balled me on my trade and high balled me
on there bikes." - JJ 05/03 "H-D Green Bay has two shops. If you
want a good deal go to the shop located off of Velp Ave and talk to the
owner. Avoid the one on Manitowoc Road. I got a great deal on a brand new
2003 FXDWG. With TTL and freight I paid well less than MSRP, and got my
1000 mile service for free as well as $150 in accessories. Yeah, the 05's
were just coming out at the time I purchased it, and that helped in the
negotiating process, but this was a fair deal on a brand new 2003 FXDWG.
I've seen many used going for this price or more. Also, if you take the
time to ask about the high sticker price, they'll explain to you that that
price includes a service agreement, etc. Tell them you want the price of
the bike ONLY, as I did, and you will find it to be well less than the
sticker price." - MT 11/04 |

"According
to well known motorcycle publication, this dealer sells new Harleys at or
near MSRP" "Gary Sinks at Kutter H-D took care of all my
needs that the Milwaukee guys and Worth H-D of Kansas City Mo. would
not--they are a wonderfully customer orientated Dealership. Prices are
acceptable and the service is outstanding. They are very "HARLEY
COMPANY ORIENTATED" and will do anything to see that you are pleased
with your machine and the Motor Company. See Rick in service or contact
Gary( General Manager)." - RB 4/00 "I've purchased two bikes from this dealer in the last
three years. They sell at MSRP. You must put down a $500 deposit when you
order and you may wait as long as eight months to get the bike, but you will
not get screwed. The sales staff are all wonderful people. The service
department is second to none. They have a complete machine shop and dyno,
and the prices are fair. All in all a very satisfying buying experience." -
MK 10/01 "Been going here for the past 12 years, always a pleasure to walk
in, everyone says hello, yes they do sell for MSRP. Never had a problem with
anything or anyone at Kutters, highly recommend them. Parts and service are
both outstanding, by the way they just opened their 2nd dealership in Monroe
Wi., gonna take a ride over that way today and check it out." - JK 06/02
"It doesn't matter if your just kicking tires, browsing or buying. This
dealer is great. MSRP is the rule and forthright honesty, friendliness and
a big smile will always greet you. I have been stopping in there for a few
years, not buying, rather, drooling at the bikes. There was never a time
that I wasn't greeted as an old friend that's been away for a while. This
year, 02/2003, the wife and I each bought new anniversary models and we were
treated as well as you could expect. We passed up 15 local dealers, drove
75 miles one way to get there and have not regretted it once. I doubt you
do better unless your Willie G. They recently opened a second location in
Monroe, WI. It would be worth your while to check them out." - JR 02/03
"I first went to this dealership in Janesville because of a problem I had
while on the road. They took my bike right to the tech & in 30 min. I was
back on the road. They told me that travelers get fast track treatment in
the service dept. the price was right 2!! I have since returned several
times & had only super customer service by there very friendly staff. The
last time I was there the salesman said that they were ranked number 1 by
the motor company in Bar & Shield for 2002. I can see why these guys are
great. I think they really care about me! I am purchasing a new Road King
from there new Monroe store in April @ MSRP. Thanks for building a store in
my back yard." - PO 03/03
"I drive 100 miles one way to take both my bikes to Kutter's for service.
Service department bends over backwards to help and you are always treated
as a valued customer. My friend just bought an anniversary bike from them
at MSRP. They were extremely helpful in making sure everything on the bike
was adjusted to fit her before it left the building." - DK 04/03 |

purchased a 2003 Heritage Springer at list price from Uke’s and could not
have been treated any better. The sales, parts, and service people are
always willing to help with any questions. I would recommend them highly."
- JJ 02/03 "I didn't buy my Harley from Uke's, but you wouldn't know that
from the way I was treated their. spent a few bucks, and was treated as good
as anyone in the place, from service guys to cashiers, they all treated me
as if I had bought a new Ultra Classic from them. if this is any indication
of their reputation, then I'll give them 5-stars, these are all great
people, and my favorite stop going to Milwaukee." - MH 11/03 "Ordered a bike from
these folks, at a verbally agreed on price. Once the bike was ordered they
increased the price by $1000. I cancelled my order and went to another
dealer that did what they said they would. Increasing the price makes them a
stealer in my book. If you buy here beware, get everything in writing!" - SM

"I wouldn't buy a quart of oil from this old loon.
I have stopped in just to chat with the staff, but couldn't stand the
attitude. As far as I know they sell bikes at MSRP but it seems they
sell to favorites only." - SH 1/00
"This dealer is honest, if a bit crusty. In 1996 he celebrated his
50th year as a HD dealer. I bought a 96 from him at MSRP and a '99 FXR3 at
below MSRP. Service and parts are knowledgeable and professional." -
WCJ
"After 56 years Al Decker sold the dealership. Decker HD is now Capitol
City HD. A lot of the folks from Sauk HD are now there. I've dealt with

"I have purchased three bikes from them in the
past three years. They're great people to work with. They're prices are
great, staff is very friendly and willing to work with you. 10% discount
to HOG chapter members." - IS 10/99 "I did the old internet searches, walking
through dealerships, talking to different people and somehow I always ended
up with the feeling that things were not right. Needless to say we knew what
we were after and made arrangements to drop in at Stock's while visiting my
brother in that area. Well we all popped in and looked at a few used models
and then came across a two tone blue 04 Electra Glide classic. The sales man
and us were kicking around a few ideas about new vs. used and decided upon
the new bike. I had a couple request as to what I would like thrown in on
the deal and the salesman did what I had asked and my wife and I were happy
with the price. As we all know that was the easy part for them, I already
knew what I wanted. The big test is the service, brought her in for the 1000
mile service and not a bit of trouble. They were friendly, courteous and
answered any questioned we had. Stopped in to pick up some more chrome and
goodies and in talking to the salesman I mentioned that I thought she had a
knock. The salesman had a service tech take her for a ride and he thought
the primary chain may be lose. I checked and no she is within tolerance. I
will be calling to make an appointment to have this looked at and I an sure
the service will be exceptional as before." - MC 10/04 |

"After several phone calls and many emails to this dealership, I packed
up and drove 130 miles round trip to test ride a bike that I was looking
to buy. I contacted the dealership to set up a time to come for a test
ride and they asked about my motorcycle license and insurance information
and told me that they would not stay open later than 6:00. We got there
with 25 minutes to spare only to find that the owner would not let me test
ride the bike. He also made no attempt to put me on anything even similar.
In fact he made no attempt to even sell me the bike. I have never ridden
a HD product and really didn't want to buy one with out testing it first.
But even if that is his policy why didn't the sales person tell me before
I wasted my time, gas, mileage? They don't get my vote for outstanding
service! WHAT A LET DOWN!" - JD 04/02
"I emailed a letter a few weeks ago and I'm glad it didn't go through,
I had said that the service staff was helpful and friendly but it seems
they were just blowing smoke in my ear and telling me what I wanted to
hear until it came down to business, that's when the owner came into the
picture! I spent around $200 to have them fix my bike when in the first
place I had only asked for an estimate, then I took the bike down the road
only to have more trouble and take it back to Sauk Prairie H-D and get it
fixed right, I asked the owner of Bala's to make it right by pitching for
a 5000 mile service, he told me I was being unfair to him and he'd rather
give me my money back and never have me bring my 93 far in there ever
again, this was my first time there and will most definitely be my last
Sauk I'm so sorry I wandered: Bala's your loss." - GC 06/02
"I called Bala's HD about trading a Sportster in on a new Wide Glide
and the sales person said they would take a Sportster on trade. I informed
them I was driving about 1.5 hours and leaving work early to check this
out. After getting there the appraiser was gone, would be back in 10
minutes. I looked the shop over for 30 minutes and went outside and fell
asleep on the picnic table for over an hour. No one told the appraiser I
was there and no one came to get me when he arrived. He finally did look
at and drive my bike. Told me he would give me X amount ( half what
another dealer offered me ) and then said we " could go work out the
payments". He walked me to the bike shed and said he had over 25
Sportsters and didn't need anymore. The woman I originally called and
talked with when I got there never even checked on me again. All the
appraiser wanted to do was get me into a payment plan I could afford
regardless of how much I would be losing on trade. Definitely a STEALER in
my eyes." - FM 03/03
"These guys went above and beyond the call of duty as far as I'm
concerned. The salesman was knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to
talk to. He stayed after the dealership closed and postponed going Deer
hunting that afternoon just to finish our deal up. We purchased a brand
new bike at MSRP, received more than I expected for my trade, and
authorized them to put in a 103cu motor and 6 speed transmission in the
new one. They have definitely gained a new customer in us. This bike will
get me through the next few years until I retire and I will go right back
to that Dealership in the woods to purchase the next one so the wife and I
can see the US on a H-D." - BM 01/05 |

accounted for.) my bike came back with grease and oil all over it at the 1k checkup.
management is arrogant, parts people are friendly." - RG 8/99 "This Stealer overprices everything!
Had a quote from their service-manager for an 883-1200 conversion for
2,000 to 2,500 bucks! I bought my new bike from them at $1,300 over

lowest I could find anywhere on the net. Nice shop with friendly folks

"Our '93 FLHTC needed some "freshening up" at 90,000+ miles so we took it
in to Wisconsin HD to have them perform a 10K service and look the bike
over. We left instructions for them to call us with whatever they found
that needed repair. They went over the bike with a fine-tooth comb and not
only called us with suggested repairs, they broke each job down and quoted
the cost for them separately! They faxed us the list and allowed us to
pick and choose which we wanted to have repaired (they noted ones that
were safety concerns). We elected to have everything repaired and they did
the job within a week. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with, were
straight-up honest with their assessment of needed repairs, and performed
the work correctly and quickly and at a good price. They even repaired the
sliding left grip that had been a problem since we bought the bike used at
another dealership! We highly recommend them." - DA 04/04

damnedest to give you a hand and help you out..." - DW 8/99 "I've had nothing but positive
experiences with La Crosse Area HD-Buell with my Buell M2. They are highly
courteous and professional and really go out of their way to be
helpful." - KM 4/01
"Bought several bikes from these people just
recently a 02 Fatboy & an a Ultra classic 1000 over MSRP plus shipping and
245 setup, but gave us better trade in than two other dealers we checked
with, great service dept, sales and parts." - KH 03/02 "I've had
nothing but good experiences with this dealer. They have a good supply of
used bikes at good prices. Sales people act like they want you there.
Service is excellent. Bought a 1990 FLHS last month, had a leak. They
decided to replace ALL seals as long as they had it apart, no charge. They
take care of the customer. Bought my last two used bikes from them." - DM
4/02 "I was looking all over the Midwest for my new H-D. Was looking for a
Softail Std, locally (Twin Cities) they wanted $15,500+shipping etc. I found
what I was looking for at WI HD for $14,690 out the door. So I saved over
$1500, it is about a 4.5 hr drive/ride, but for $1500 I'll make the trek.
Plus it will be a nice break in ride home." - TL 04/02 "My wife and I just bought two 2002 road king classics from La Crosse
HD. we have nothing but an outstanding experience. We traded in 2
Sportsters, gave us a good price for trade in and MSRP on the road kings.
very courteous and very helpful to fill our needs. They delivered the
bikes to St. Paul, MN and picked up the trade-ins at no charge its 130
miles away. we will buy from there again. just a great experience." - GE

"The dealer quoted me MSRP with $750
freight and setup for a FXDWG2 knowing that he could get much more
elsewhere! Plain and simple...NO B.S. I highly recommend this
over any dealership around." - JD 6/01 "I picked up my 2003 883r in November at
MSRP. My brother bought his 2003 883 Hugger at MSRP in November of 2002 from
the same salesman. The salesman was great, he didn't try to pressure me into
a bunch of add-ons and such. My brother is gonna order himself a Springer
from the same guy in February." - JH 01/04 "I've been reading this
site for years and it's about time I give some praise to "my" dealer. This
shop has the feel of HD dealers of the past. Not a million square feet of
cold atmosphere, but a friendly, helpful place to stop in. I have now bought
8 new H-Ds here, all at MSRP, even during the time all other dealers were
adding $$. The sales staff will help you, the parts guys are all
knowledgeable, and their service department fixes it right fast and correct.
Definitely the BEST shop in the Milwaukee area. Stop in and check them out
for your own opinion." - CT 03/05 |

"Sauk Prairie H-D is one of the best and
biggest dealerships in the country, they also have one of the best
selections of bikes and biker accessories and clothing that you would ever
want. The staff is the best that I have ever come in contact with,
and I should know I spend almost half of my income on them. They are
the best and most considerate people that I know and they won't bullshit
you." - AB 1/00
"I have bought four bikes from this dealership, just before
Christmas I bought myself a 2000 FLHRCI. Al and Vickie made sure I
was satisfied with my new ride, and B-Rad and Gary made sure I put all the
coolest accessories on it, including a Stage I Big Bore kit. I recommend
this dealer to anyone, these guys have bent over backwards for my business
and it obvious they appreciate it." - SH 1/00
"I have bought 5 bikes from this
dealership. They just put on a new edition, it is huge. As far
as I know they sell bikes at MSRP plus freight and set up. Staff is
very friendly and informative. This dealer also builds 100 plus
custom Harley replica bike a year, a good alternative to waiting.
Its no wonder this dealer has won the gold bar and shield award, this
place is awesome." - CH 5/01
"Was in this shop 6/01 and saw they have lots of used bikes on the
floor. I can see why--the prices were shocking. A 1999 Ultra for over
$20K! I believe it was a '97 that was over $19K. An acquaintance just
bought one of their home-assembled Harley Replicas--a plain-Jane Softail
styled bike--and paid over $17k for it. Service department is slow and
work usually requires return visits to have other unrelated problems
repaired that crop up after they've touched the bike. Last time I had bike
services it was returned to me days late and dirty." - DA 6/01
"... am very surprised by the way bike pricing is perceived. Our
bikes are priced at blue book and do include extended service plan. The
pricing is far from the outrageous newspaper prices and that of some
dealers. And if this was a consignment vehicle the customer sets the
pricing himself. The bikes go through a five hour maintenance and in most
cases get AT LEAST one new tire! (Have a problem?) contact us and
let us at least try and remedy the situation." - Sauk Prairie H-D

"I have been fortunate enough to be a customer at Sauk Prairie H-D
since the early eighties. There have been allot of changes in store design
throughout the years but the customer service has always been top notch.
They must clone new employees as they are as polite and knowledgeable as
the veteran employees. (some have been there 10 plus years). If you are
ever in the area stop in and see this dealer. Their MD. ride brings in
over 3,000 people and $100,000 for Jerry's kids every year!" - BS

"This is the only dealer I ever went out of my way to commend. The
following is an email I just sent the dealership: never b4 have I had much
good to say about a H-D dealership. I usually get snubbed ,left hanging,
and hate going in them. I have been searching for a few things for quite a
while now. Gave up for a while, but just in the last few weeks went back
at it. I tried 4 other dealerships. Contacted them about a few different
parts. Surprisingly, all 4 dealerships told me something different
regarding the same part and part number. I was getting the runaround. I
was confused, frustrated and thought I'd call your place. I immediately
could tell I was talking to someone that knew what they were talking
about. I was relieved. Few days later, drove a good hour out of my way to
stop in your store. I received accurate info, all the parts I needed and
was impressed. If I ever need help with something again, I feel confident
stopping at your store for what I need without the attitude. I'll
recommend your store to bikers who want honest, knowledge, helpful service
without the attitude. Thanks for helping me out." - RV 01/02
"I can't say enough nice things about Sauk Prairie H-D! I had bought
our new
99 FLHTC from Decker HD and when the cam bearing issue came up, Decker
told me that they wouldn't fix it unless it blew. After hearing all the
horror stories about being stranded on a trip we were afraid to ride very
far. We were talking about it to a guy we just met at Sauk Prairie HD. He
turned out to be the owner and went out of his way to ease our minds. He
had our bike picked up at our home in Madison on Tue. all new components
installed and returned on Thur, all at no charge!!! They even called on
Fri. to see if everything was ok!! Needless to say, we do all our business
at Sauk Prairie HD. The people who work there are always friendly and make
you feel welcome. The Motor Co. could not have a better dealership!" - GB

"Never bought a bike here but have friends who have, been here many
times. They have a huge new building that is great. Talked to them about
getting a new POS Police Officer Special as I am in the Blue Knights who
they support. Did not work out but am planning to get one here in 2003.
Their parts department is outstanding and you can even get a free lunch in
their waiting area. Prices seem at or below most other dealers, they are
also very good on returning E mails and tailing orders over the internet."
- TK 03/02
"I just typed in a naughty note for one dealer and now I have to give
credit where credit is due!!! I have a guilty feeling for going elsewhere
but I live closer to another stealer ( I can't call Bala's a dealer) Sauk
has always always always been honest with me even if I didn't want to hear
it and bent over backwards the service is top notch and the owner donated
over $1000 dollars worth of clothes to raffle off at the benefit for my
family when we lost our home, parts knows parts like no one else and the
people always treat you like an old friend there all I can say is I'm glad
to go back to Sauk it feels just like coming home thanks everyone at
Sauk." - GC 06/02
"Just picked up a 2003 FLHT from Sauk. From the parts dept (I added
many extras), the service dept, the sales staff and even the owner, I was
treated with respect. Bike was sold at list price. No stealer here! This
is my 4th Harley from Sauk. The sales person went over every document to
make sure I understood it all. Sauk has a great reputation in Southern
WI, and they deserve it." - JP 10/02
"I bought my motorcycle in South Dakota, and moved to Wisconsin. I never
had to explain why I didn't buy my motorcycle from them, and they have
always helped me with my service. I just recently had a 95" Big Bore Stage
I installed on my 2003 FLSTCI, and was worried. The bike was fixed and
finished when promised. I looked my bike over darn near under a
microscope, and found they did a top notch job on it! They washed the bike
when it was done (not a great detailing job as it had some spots) but I
get those too time to time. All-in-all, the price for the Stage I was
competitive and fair, and the job was top notch! I would highly recommend
this dealer to anyone in the Dells, Baraboo, and even Madison area." - BP

just saved $2000 over the price quoted to me by the Thieves in San Antonio

hi to Mike and Tim if you drop by." - KK 4/01
"Have bought 2 bikes
here including a new 2002 Ultra couple months ago.
Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The parts operation is

chrome, Service Dept much improved with Service Mgr. on my 2002 Ultra,
Guys went out of their way to go over service done and answer questions.
Have brought 3 bikes here over past few years. So check the service dept
out." - TK 06/02 |

"According to a well-known biker magazine, readers have sent in
letters claiming that this dealer sells bikes at or near MSRP."
"Sells some bikes at MSRP, but sells most at $2000 over list.
You almost need a trade in to get a bike at MSRP." - JJ 11/99
"This dealer does sell at MSRP. (+650
freight/setup). I bought no hassle over the phone from St. Louis and got a
2002 XLH in September. NO long wait list. Salesman was great and the bike
and all paperwork was ready to go when I got there. Bonus of 20% off all
parts at time of purchase and 2 free T-shirts." - JF 01/02 "Have
always got bike serviced here. Ready on time and picked up (Work gets done
in March) when I was told that it would be. Just had a 10,000 mile check
done on '95 Ultra with 27,000 miles. Everything was fine and two recalls
were done on bike that I did not know about. Bike runs excellent." - EZ
04/02 "Have spent more $$ in their parts dept than I wish to admit.
They will treat you right and everyone gets a 15% discount on parts, even
Custom Chrome etc. Used bike selection on floor is late model and is
priced ok. Ask to see older used bikes in back. Make an offer; they like
to move 'em. Don't know about their service dept." - JF 04/02 "I bought a 2003 Road King Classic from this dealer. No pricing games,
MSRP on the bike with a bump on freight and prep. A great dealer to do
business with, no BS from these people. This is the place to buy from if
you live in the Metro Milwaukee area." - AP 03/03 "I've been dealing with Suburban Harley for over a year now. There are
good dealers out there, and there are a lot of bad dealers out there as
well... and then there are dealers which make Harley-Davidson/Buell shine.
Suburban is one of these. I ordered a toolkit from them once, and got the
wrong one in the mail. I sent it back and they sent me the new one, plus a
t-shirt, and paid the return shipping on the toolkit I sent back. I've
ordered parts there rather than get them from my local Harley dealer in
Little Rock, AR as I can have them in less than a week from Suburban, or
wait two to three weeks for my local dealer to get them in. I've spoken
with the owner, and the guys in the parts department and they have always
been friendly and helpful. My only regret is that they are not local to my
area! Suburban Harley truly is a great Harley Dealership. I wish HD had
more dealers like this." - SG 07/05 "I live in Sydney, Australia
and buy my parts from Suburban H-D. It is much easier and cheaper to get
them from these guys than it is locally, all I have to do is E-mail them
and they reply to me promptly no matter how big or small the list is. I
have tried other dealers in the US with little success. Their parts man is
very helpful when I am chasing parts to the point he will give me a few
options on the parts I need whether it be Buell or H.D, it sure makes an
international phone call to finalize an order worth it." - DW 08/05 |
WEST BEND H-D

"A great service department. Courteous
and punctual. However, the sales side of things stink! I purchased a new
Road King Classic 2002. This was my first H-D. I anticipate to trade on a
new bike every year and told them up front. I was told that they would not
play pricing games on the 100th Anniversary models . . . they lied. I
started talking 2003 models with them in August of 2002. They want $1800 in
add-ons plus installation. By the time tax is figured the bike is priced
$3000 over MSRP. I went back 3 times and asked why they were doing this to a
repeat customer. The salesman said that his hands were tied. Through word of
mouth I ended up buying from Suburban H-D. I told them of my experience with
West Bend, and they were somewhat surprised that a repeat customer would be
treated that way! Suburban sold for MSRP on the bike and $300 more than MSRP
on freight and prep. A great deal and great service." - AP 03/03
"I
got my 2003 883 Custom at $39.95 over MSRP. MSRP on the bike is $7,075
according to the HD site. I walked out the door for $7114.95 before tax and
licensing. I had to stop in and haggle a few times walking away each time
because they did not want to give me a break. But the day I decided I was
going to get it no matter what I walked in the door and plopped the money on
the salesman's desk and said $7100.00 cash or I walk out the door. Needless
to say I got my bike. ;)" - KB 08/03 |
