BARTLESVILLE H-D

"These people are very honest and have excellent
prices. The problem is that they only get a handful of Harleys a year, and
the wait is typically 8 - 12 months. Last year (2000) they were selling
FXDs for $13,000, but the wait was almost a year. Mostly deal in Hondas
and Suzukis. Also have great prices on metric scoots." - GM 02/01 "I bought a 2004 Heritage Softail for MSRP plus freight.
I bought a metric bike from them a few years ago. They are great. I highly
recommend them. They don't have a big inventory so you may have to wait for
what you want." - JH 05/04 "I purchased a 2005 Road King from this
dealer. They were honest and did everything they said they would do. A
pleasure to do business with. Prices were fair and the people are honest. I
had to drive 330 miles to this dealer, but it was worth every mile. Nice to
see customer service in a HD dealer! The bike I purchased had to be
ordered, but it was delivered early and that is what I call under promising
and over achieving. I sent a friend to them and he was pleased with his
service. I highly recommend this dealer to anybody." - SB 04/05 |

"I have recently purchased a 1982 ShovelHead from HD World Shop. The sales
person was professional in her attitude. She sold me the bike in record
time and had it out the door. I love the bike although I may not have it
serviced by by their service department. " - JH 06/04 |
McKINNEY H-D
Lawton, OK

|
" I relocated to Lawton from Dallas, just purchased my new FXDWG at
McKinney's, best price in the area, When I entered the store I was greeted
by numerous employees and made to feel "at home" and helped find me the
bike I was looking for, no pressure no hassle.. great experience. The
parts staff helped me customize my bike to my preference and show me what
I needed. I have had previous bikes in the past that I have taken to them
for service, hands down the best Service Dept in the state and
Northern Texas. I can only vouch for my own experiences, but when
problems arise on my bike they can quickly accommodate me in to get it
fixed, not weeks later. Overall they are the best dealership that I
have seen, as in overall performance. I highly recommend them, if you
don't believe me stop in and check." - MT 9/01
"This place is very friendly. I bought my '01 FXDWG for about 1500
over MSRP. Although the friendliness was proportional to the amount of
money you spent. I will do business here again. They are a first come
first serve Dealer so timing is everything." - CR 9/01
"McKinney's H-D has been a fantastic dealership to work with.
From the first day my husband and I walked into the dealership, we were
treated like family. The owners and staff are friendly and
helpful. McKinney's has always come through 100% on any promises they
made. The prices are reasonable. The service and parts departments
are excellent. The sales staff always welcome you with a smile and kind
word. And the owners have a great relationship with the HOG Chapter. Even
though we have three authorized dealerships within 30 miles of our home in
the Oklahoma City area, we choose to travel 85 miles to see our friends at
McKinney's for all of our service and H-D accessory needs. Bottom line,
it's what a Harley dealership should be like a family owned business that
welcomes everyone. Thanks McKinney's for the breath of fresh air in a
world where most places are run like cold hearted corporations." - MS 9/01
"I have purchased a number of items from this dealership and have to
say it is the best service I have ever had in a Harley shop I'm in the
Army and had to leave Oklahoma but I would buy from them and have them
ship it before visiting anyone else" - SM 01/03
"McKinney HD is as good as it gets. There is not one
aspect of their operation that isn't top notch. Check out McKinney's
mission statement; they live by it. There may be HD dealerships out there
that are equal to McKinney HD and I really hope so, but I'd be surprised
if any are better." - LS 06/03
"I have continued to use McKinney HD for all services and upgrades on my
bike and for good reason. They have the most qualified techs and service
people I have had the good luck to find. This is a first rate business
with highly qualified professionals who do go the extra mile for you." -
LS 12/03
"I have stopped at HD dealerships all over the U.S. and found none
better than McKinney's. Their staff, from techs, parts, to motorclothes,
are first rate. Their prices are reasonable and the staff goes out of its
way to ensure that you are 100% satisfied. I bought my bike there and go
there for all parts and services. They have the best prices and service
that I have found. If you're considering any motorcycle purchase, check
out McKinney's first. You won't be disappointed." - RC 04/04
"I just recently upgraded my engine to a 103 CI. The entire plan for
the components in this engine was developed by the Service Manager/General
Manager at McKinney HD. He gave me his proposal which I was totally
involved in and we went for it. The techs made it happen and the result
is a bike with monster torque everywhere. This coupled with a new HD six
speed tranny and it is a bike I've just dreamed about. It wasn't hard to
place my trust in McKinney's for this major build. They have experience,
talent, and never take short cuts. If your in the market for some monster
power you should do yourself a favor and check these guys out." - LS 05/04
"Going through while on vacation. Needed an antenna. They did not have
one and were very apologetic about it. Told me of several places in town
that I could try to get one that would work. Very helpful and courteous."
- KP 06/04
"I just wanted to say thank you to McKinney H-D. They are a family
owned business and that is hard to find anymore. That trust and
compassion that goes the extra mile. Where else can you walk in and deal
with one person from start to finish. The Sales Manager is the reason I
bought the bike from them. He took me from when I 1st walked in to the
finance to walking around the bike with Me. The son is who I bought the
bike from and I suggest talking to him, I had dealt with other people in
the store including the General Manager. but by far the sales manager had
me convinced and is the reason I will continue to shop at McKinney's, as
long as they own it. They will get my referrals and
business for years to come. Stop by and check them out." - MM 07/04
"I realize I'm a biased customer since I continue to be impressed by
this dealership. Most of the Harley riders here in SW OK understand that
loyalty works both ways when it comes to working with McKinney's HD.
McKinney's staff is made up of basically the same great people who were
there before the transfer of ownership and they remain highly
knowledgeable and very professional. I have had the pleasure of talking
to the new owners and they are excited about the dealership going forward
with even better capabilities and facilities. If there were any one thing
that needs attention at McKinney it would be the need to expand and they
are addressing this. I know I remain loyal to this shop and they are
loyal to me. Win Win situation. If any evidence is needed, my bike is
it. They built me a powerful and reliable Stroker and stand behind
everything they do. Not one motor issue since build completion." - LS
02/05
"Well this dealership has been sold. And I have to tell you they do not
know what they are talking about. The people are unfriendly and not
knowledgeable of Harleys what so ever, they raised prices on the bikes and
no one knows what they are talking about. I suggest finding a new place
to shop if you have been there or going there. The McKinney's knew how to
take care of people and that is gone. Watch yourself if you do go there,
this place SUCKS now. I will now start going to Red River where they know
there stuff. To bad, Lawton had a good thing going when the McKinney's
owned it. Now I will shop other places." - MT 11/04
"I am the General/Service Manager here at McKinney H-D. I have worked
at this Dealership for over 5 years so a lot of you know who I am. We are
still an MSRP Dealer, and we still have all the original employees working
here. I feel that we are the BEST SERVICE DEPARTMENT in the Texhoma area.
If you would like to see for your self please come on in. As for someone
having a bad experience at our Dealership I try very hard to make things
right if some one on my staff has messed up, including my self. As all of
you know you can not please every one." - MM McKinney H-D 01/05
"I bought an 04 Wide Glide from McKinney's in May 2004. I live about
170 miles north of them and was calling around looking for MSRP. I spoke
with the sales manager at the time told him what I wanted and he let me
know what they had. I gave them a $500 deposit to hold it over the
phone on the spot. I got down there a couple of weeks later and it was a
great experience all the way around. Everything said over the phone was
honored as it was presented. no surprises, added hidden expenses or BS.
sales, parts, service, merchandise. everybody was very friendly to me, I
also noticed they were courteous to folks who were just window shopping
and all the employees seemed to be having fun at their jobs. I was
especially impressed with the service guys and the service manager. I'll
buy another one from them someday. I haven't had a chance to scoot down
there since the new owners got the shop, but if they have the same core
group of employees I don't see how they could have! Gone from dealer to stealer." - TS 04/05
"Well I have to say this dealer has gone from a dealer to a stealer,
when I went in to by a bike and after talking to the supposedly
owner/sales manager and reaching a deal, I hear him behind the sales
counter laughing and giggling about how much he got me for on the bike,
like it was a game. That made my skin crawl, if I had not already paid
for it I would have walked out then. And I had another friend that went
in for service and bought some parts for his scooter, when he left, half
way home he has a problem with the bike, (not his first time he had to
return to fix the problem he went in for) Come to find out that put a used
part on his bike and charged him full price, none of my group and anyone I
see will be going back there, definite stealer now, how can you not see it
from a $55 hr service charge to $75 in 6 months. Stay Away!" - SS 05/05
"Well, I'm sad to have to agree with those that have commented on the
overall attitude change since McKinney H-D sold out to Pro-Team HD. No
longer is the dealership a "hometown" shop where you can feel part of the
family. I think the problem really focuses in on the Sales Manager who is
overwhelmingly arrogant and has no real interest in the customer other
than taking their dollars. Yes, its business, but everyone should be
treated the same with no status games being played. I recommended
Pro-Team to a relative who ended up purchasing a new bike on my
recommendation and the great work of one of the sales guys. Lucky for all
concerned he didn't have to interface much with the sales manager. I
guess the guy that sold my relative the bike did such a good job that he
is no longer working there. It's a family run business, but the owner
needs to rethink having his family member being placed in such an
important position as sales manager. Harley's sell themselves and no need
to screw that up with sales management that is counterproductive. Word
does travel fast in these parts. The techs in the back continue to turn
out good work and I'm hoping that the negative attitude change doesn't
spill over to that area." - LS 06/05
"I went in Bryan Harley Davidson looking for a 1200 custom. The
salesman was rude and did not even seem to give me the time of day. I was
told by a customer in Bryans to go to Lawton so i did. The Sales manager
spent about 2 hours with me answering all my question and set me up with
the i think most beautiful 1200c i have ever seen about 1500 dollars
cheaper then Bryans. They were very helpful and the motorclothes girls
were amazing. Everyone from parts to service were excellent and we will
tell everyone how helpful and amazing that dealership is. We are going to
become members of their HOG chapter even" - SS 07/05

"I was met at the door by the owner. They treated me
fairly and even lubed me and used a condom! I paid a premium price but got
the ride I wanted (make that could afford) I go to them for parts but do
my own wrenching. When I went back to get my latest ride they said had to
wait, I am not a doctor (have no patience) so I found the ride I wanted in
Delaware" - IF 11/99 "This place is definitely a Stealership. They wanted 18k for a scratch
built FXDWG. The parts people are some of the rudest folks I have
encountered. I will never buy anything from this place. They had bikes
on the floor that were for sale for about 4k over MSRP. No Thanks!" - CR

"After moving here from West Coast, went in Bryant to check it out.
Great selection of bikes and really friendly helpful people working there.
Nice store, but due to construction on I-35, a little tough to get to." -
PN 11/01
"I bought a new bike here in June of '01. I bought it over the phone
because they happened to have what I was looking for. Their original
price was 18,900. I told them I wasn't interested. The salesman asked
why not?, so I told him I could get the same bike locally (Tulsa, 100
miles away) for 16,600. He matched the price and threw in the laced wheel
option (which I really wanted) at no extra charge for making the trip from
Tulsa. MSRP on the bike was only approx. 15,000, so he didn't get hurt on
the deal. When I arrived to pick up the bike, I found out he had 3 of the
same bike. I'll bet he wouldn't have been so anxious to drop his price if
he had only 1 on hand. However, the deal went smoothly and with no
surprises. He didn't make any special deals on accessories for me even
though I asked about them, but he did throw in several T-shirts for free.
No complaints here, but no glowing recommendation either. They should
have had the bike priced reasonably in the first place." - HB 03/02
"I had the misfortune of buying two bikes (my bad) from this dealer.
First was a Sportster. Took them three months to get parts on bike as
requested and agreed on by dealer. This time frame was never discussed. I
was told bike would be ready in one week. Bike would not run well so I
took it back to dealer four times. Shop Forman said it was just cold
running. Next day bike would not start. Following day took it to Harley
World. Mechanic walked out took one look at bike and said they had failed
to adjust the carb. Adjustment was made and bike ran great from then on.
Second was Road King. I was told I must bring the bike back to them for
500 mile check up. On way to dealer for this check, one shift peddle fell
off. I saved peddle and was charged for installation being told it was
not covered under warranty. When I asked to speak with someone I was told
no one was there who could help me." - JG 01/04"I bought a '02
Fatboy from Bryan's. the price was 2000.00 over MSRP, but I wanted the
bike and they had it, still not a very good reason to rip folks off.
anyway, after the sale, I went in to look at add-ons and was ignored to
the point of being insulted. the salesman was busy watching TV and
couldn't be bothered. I go to McKinney's in Lawton for everything, no
major problems with them yet. haven't talked to anyone yet that had
anything good to say about Bryan's." - TF 07/04 "When I bought my
03 Heritage I had Bryan put on Vance and Hines exhaust and was assured by
the salesman that they wouldn't turn black-of course they did big time and
was ignored and lied to when I tried to get them to make it right. Do not
buy from this dealer!" - WK 12/04 |

"Avoid the place like the plague. Two years ago I
went in to find a new ride... I guess I didn't have the look or smell of
money, I was ignored for over 45 minutes, even after I asked for help. The
wrenches there need to go to school. I know of 5 bikes that they totally
screwed up! The worst example was not putting the drive pin on the oil
pump and left the wire off the oil pressure switch. The poor yuppie that
owned that bike had to get it rebuilt again. I left there and went to
Bryans H-D in Moore Ok." - IF 11/99
"Bought a new FLHTCI from this dealer (5-15-01)and
was VERY pleasantly surprised by the buying experience. The General
Manager sold the bike to me and was very helpful and made it one of the
best buying experiences I've had, bike or auto!! Everyone at the
dealership, sales staff, parts dept., service dept. are friendly and
helpful folks. Although the "over" was about 3 G's, all my
future "Geezer Glide's", as well as, all parts and accessories
will be bought at this dealership! There's something to be said for
friendliness, consideration, service and a relaxed atmosphere when making
a major purchase!" - RR 6/01
"These folks almost always have bikes on the floor for
about 3.5k over MSRP. The staff is quite helpful and my experience with
their service department (first service on my '01 FXDWG) was ok. This
place and the one in Edmond is owned by TCBY (the country's best yogurt)
corporation." - CR 9/01
"I recently bought a 2002 Fatboy in Ohio and took it in
to H-D World to have the $6.00 odometer reset boot replaced. I was
informed that they wouldn't honor my warranty because I bought the bike
out of state. Before I forked over the six bucks I made it very clear to
the salesman that I was going to buy some accessories...but it didn't
matter. So I went down the street to Bryan's HD in Moore, OK and bought
350.00 in chrome. You would think that a dealership would just toss a
$6.00 part your way, certainly on a bike with 300 miles on it - but not
Harley World in Oklahoma City." - JC 04/02
"I had a great experience at Harley-Davidson World in
Oklahoma City, paid about $100 over MSRP and did it over the phone in
about 3 minutes. was treated great by the staff there, and will return. I
recommend them for your business." - TH 08/02
"I just visited the HD shop on S. Agnew (08/30/04)to
deliver a friend's Road King for it's 2500 mile service. As usual, they
had ample stock priced considerably over MSRP. Example: '05 FLHTCI (bone
stock) MSRP-$17,245. There's had a sign on it for $24,300, marked down to
$23,500. Stealer priced for sure! What Sportsters they had were priced
$1500-$2000 over MSRP too. You don't want to buy from these people, but
they have a good service department. It took me 15 minutes to locate
someone that knew where the 2005 catalog was." - BM 09/04
"Terrible dealership. Prices are well above MSRP and customer service is
non-existent. When they do finally talk to you, they are rude and
arrogant. They never return phone calls. Drove to Forman H-D in
Stillwater and bought a 2006 Night Train at MSRP, and they had great
customer service. Well worth the drive." - DH 09/05 |
FORMAN H-D
Stillwater, OK

|
"Definitely the best dealer in OK. Just picked up a 2002
FXSTI with pearl paint, security and EFI for $14,990. They are only
charging $885 over MSRP plus any options. Installation of parts when
the bike is new is done with no labor charge and they offer
discounts on accessories when you buy the bike there. There is about a
year to year and a half wait for big twins and about 6 months for a Sporty
the last I heard. Service Dept is great. Everyone there is very
knowledgeable. I had a great buying experience here and would recommend
Forman to anyone. If you can wait a while it is worth saving the $2000
more you'll pay for the same bike in OKC or Tulsa." - MM 10/01
"I just bought an 05 Springer for them. It was their
last big twin other than a few V-Rods. Because of the new model year
starting and the owner hollering to sell all the Harley's I was able to
get the bike for a steal. They had the bike listed at about 18k even as it
was a fuel injected model with a security system. Cheap enough compared to
other dealers in the area...but it gets better...they came off that price
another grand. The people are very friendly and helpful and they seem like
a real family. If I ever buy another new HD it will be from them. I urge
everyone in Oklahoma looking for a bike to check them out before buying
anywhere else." - CW 07/05 "Forman Harley-Davidson
is awesome. We're buying a Buell XB9R from them in a couple of weeks, and
they have been very helpful and friendly. Why is this special? We're 5 1/2
hours away from them, in Little Rock, AR and are going all that way to buy
a bike. It doesn't have a lot to do with price as much as our local HD
Dealership is dropping Buell from their lineup, and won't be servicing
Buell's anymore either. As such we've got to go a long haul to get the
bike we want, and Forman has it in stock, and is ordering the accessories,
maintenance, and supplies we'll need. They're really friendly. I would
trade my local dealer for Forman in a heartbeat." - SG 07/05
"Great dealership. Prices are at MSRP and the staff is friendly and
attentive. Customer service is MUCH better than anything in OKC area.
Highly recommended." - DH 09/05
"I checked at several dealerships in Oklahoma and Texas and found Forman
to be the best price and customer oriented. I bought a '06 Deuce. They
return calls for parts and information. I live 84 miles from Forman, and I
would still use them if it was 200 miles." - JM 10/05 |
ROUTE 66 H-D

"Went in 4/6/01 to sign up for local HOG Chapter, and ask about
drag pipes. Parts Dept is Excellent. Wrenches are some of the best in
Tulsa area. Sales people are friendly and helpful, asked a salesman about
their price on a 01' 1200 Custom told him how much I gave for mine and he
still looked it up and showed me what they sell for at C&C, even
though I bought out of state. Prices are a little high. They had a few new
bikes on the floor, both, Harley and Buell, used bikes too. You will pay a
little more but it's well worth it. From now on I'll buy it at C&C no
matter what it is. Parts man told me if I wanted to get rid of the stock
footpegs and get some Kuryakn then he'd just charge me the tax and swap
straight across. You will find no better DEALER in Tulsa." - WD
4/01
"FYI, there's been a name change with C&C HD in Tulsa, Ok.
They are now Route 66 HD. No changes other than that as far as I
know." - LV 5/01
"Great people and willing to take time to ensure you get what you
want. Salesman went out of his way to assist with selection of accessories
and introduce me to the Service Dept (excellent too). Bought a new 01 FXDX
and found the price to be negotiable to some extent. My dealer of choice
from now on." - MR 6/01
"Great dealer. Ordered my 2002 Fatboy in late February and it arrived
May 14th. Got it for MSRP plus $575 freight and setup-also came with a
few free t-shirts." - RH 08/02
"I bought a new bike here in June of ’02. I paid about $800 over
MSRP. Everything was handled professionally on the dealer’s side and the
transaction went smoothly. The owner even came out to meet me. I didn’t
feel pressured or like I was getting scammed. I would recommend this
dealer to others." - JB 12/03
"Wow, I bought my Harley in Bartlesville but needed warranty work done
there. These guys bent over backwards to help me. They didn't care where I
bought my bike they treated me better than I would have ever expected. I
met the owner. He wanted to know if I was getting taken care of. This
place was awesome. I'll see if I can deal with them next time I buy a
Harley. I'm not putting down Bartlesville Cycle Sports they really treated
me right too but Route 66 is closer to home." - JH 06/04
"I was recently involved in a hit and run my insurance company told me
to go get the cost of the parts for the repair so I went to Route 66
because they are the dealer nearest to me. I went to the parts counter and
told the parts guy what I needed he let out a big sigh and said he didn't
have time and leave the list and he would get to it later. I explained I
need it that day plus I only had 10 parts to be looked up, I apologized
for the incontinence (which I should not have), he said that it was a pain
in the a@# to do plus while being tied up with me he's not helping
customers with cash in hand, but he would do it just this one time (there
were just me, my son and one other guy at the counter and three parts
guys) After 10 minuets he was done then he reminded me again how much a
pain in the a@# it was, then after I left realized that the cost list
didn't look right so I thought instead of putting up with R66 again I
would try Myers-Duren which is father out of my way." - CF 07/05
"Went to Tulsa a couple of weeks ago to look at a bike they had in
stock similar to one we were considering. The sales guys were really nice,
very friendly. They gave us an offer well below MSRP on a 2005 model of
the bike we were looking for, and were going to try to have one
transferred in. When they couldn't do that, they called us to let us know
and referred us to Forman's HD in Stillwater where we are still getting a
great deal which is below MSRP. This is one friendly and caring
dealership. They've got a great selection, tons of bikes, and the day we
were there the place was packed. The HD riders in the area obviously are
well cared for in Tulsa, and come out to show it. This is another one of
those dealerships that I'd gladly trade my local dealer in Little Rock, AR
for." - SG 07/05
"After finally being able to get back in the saddle again I went to
Route 66 to see about a bike. The salesman were very courteous,
knowledgeable and helpful. I had been to the other dealer in town and had
to hunt down a salesman as they acted like they didn't have time for me. I
put down a deposit on a new FXSTI at Route 66 and they really took care of
me. Introduced me to the Owner, Service Mgr., Parts Mgr. and anyone else I
would have contact with. The sales people in the retail side were very
helpful and knowledgeable about all the products they sell on the
merchandise side. My bike was due in around the first week of Dec. and the
salesman kept me updated on the status and it was available 2 days earlier
than was expected. All in all a great experience and looking forward to
continuing the experience with Route 66 H-D." - AC 12/05

MYERS-DUREN H-D

"I First bought a 1999 1200 sportster sport with factory custom
paint for 10,000 no wait it was 750.00 less than any where else in OK. had
no trouble with it and when I had it serviced it was always done fast and
at a price that was lower than any other dealer quoted for the service. I
bought it in 1/99 put myself on a list for a 2000 Road king and picked it
up in 12/99 for about 1500.00 over MSRP and received a good trade on the
Sportster they have a good stock of parts on hand and accessories I'm
happy with them." - G 1/00
"I took my Dyna in for recall and was told it just takes a minute and
should do it myself at home. How's that for customer service? Any big twin
will set you back at least $17k more like $20k for a wide glide or duce. A
very upscale establishment not very biker friendly seem to forgotten where
they came from." - JW 01/02"I brought a 1994 fxstc there in 2000 gave 15,250 for it, kept it for a
year went to trade it in they said they could give me 7000.00 for it but I
got them up to 9000 so I traded for a 2000 Fatboy now come to find out the
vin number those not match the paper work, they say they are working on it
but don't know how long that will take its kind of hard to get tags for
this bike what am I to do now? Have I been ripped out again?" - JA 06/04
"I called the parts guy there, he was real nice and said bring your list
we'll get you fixed up and that he did, he got the prices and part numbers
right which R66 didn't plus he got me more money on my damages since I was
doing my own repairs which Ii didn't know about, so I just got the 2,000
dollars today to fix my bike, so guess where I am going to get my parts
with CASH IN HAND? plus my dad just bought his first Harley I sent him
there and they gave him a great deal thousands less than R66. I've had
friends tell me that R66 only care about getting the RUB dollars and not
the average income H-D rider. So next year I am looking to buy an ultra I
will go to Myers Duren first" - CF 07/05 |
