"If you plan on buying a bike from Cycle City, be aware of issues within their service department, as service from them comes hardly. I had purchased a 02 V-Rod from them, and had a problem with hitting a pothole on H1 freeway. I went on a Saturday to get a quote for rim replacement, and left front leg repair, possible replacement and front end adjustment. Was advised by service writer that an appointment was needed, where South Seas HD in Waipahu saw me without issue or charge. I set the appointment for a Thursday at 11 AM, and was thereon time for my appointment. The service writer that I set the appointment with acknowledged my presence, but did nothing with me until 11:50 AM, and then, wrote a repair order with a charge for 125.00 for a quote and advised I'd have to leave the bike as their mechanics were headed for lunch. My V-Rod is a 02, bought from Cycle City new for 18K. I would expect as a customer who has bought this bike, and has had another that was in their service department for work that ran several thousands that these people would have more class and handle customers as they business depended on it. By the way, the previous bike took them 3 months to complete, for a job that the flat rate would require no more than 6 hours to complete. Cycle City is the only Master Distributor for Harley in Hawaii, all other dealerships here have to go through Cycle City for their parts and bikes. The owners of Cycle City has in the past and continues to surcharge their customers as high as 30% on parts. Better deals on parts can be found through folks at Bartel's HD in LA, even with freight on top of cost, you'll save. Be aware of their practices as it will cost you $. I wish MoCo would not condone J. Nickolai et al Cycle City as a master distributor, but only as a dealer of Harley Davidson brands. Because of this Hawaii customers get the shaft in the end."- RM 09/04

"I was pleasantly surprised with the prices they offer.  Although EVERY bike comes in via Pacific Harley (Cycle City), he really was very good. The Sportster XL1200C is the 3rd bike and the first street bike from Domenic.  They have a fair amount of Harley bikes and items in stock. The mechanic staff was very helpful and seemed very knowledgeable" - RI 5/01
